These terms govern your use of Monitor.pk (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
1. The Service
Monitor.pk monitors websites, servers and scheduled jobs that you configure, and notifies you when they appear to be unavailable. The features, limits (such as number of monitors, check frequency and history) and alert channels available to you depend on your plan.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
- Only monitor systems that you own or are authorised to monitor.
- Do not use the Service to attack, overload, scan or probe systems, to evade security controls, or to reach private or internal networks.
- Do not interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass plan limits, or resell the Service without our written consent.
- Do not send unlawful, harmful or abusive content through alert recipients or any other field.
We may pause or remove monitors, or suspend an account, that we reasonably believe breach this section.
4. Plans, billing and taxes
The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay and may exclude applicable taxes. We may change prices for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
5. Cancellation, downgrades and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your billing page. Your paid plan then remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account returns to the Free plan. When your limits decrease, monitors above the new limit are paused rather than deleted. Payments are generally non-refundable, but we may grant refunds at our discretion, for example for billing errors. Contact contact@monitor.pk.
6. Availability and no guarantee
We work to keep the Service running and alerts timely, but monitoring depends on networks and third parties we don't control. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that every outage will be detected, that alerts will always be delivered on time, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard for safety-critical systems.
7. Your data
You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us the right to process it to provide the Service. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if payment fails and remains unpaid, or if required by law. On termination your monitors and history may be deleted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost revenue, profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
